The work you do on yourself is a gift to you, and to every relationship in your life. I understand how challenging taking that first step can be and I aim to create a safe and welcoming space that allows you to feel seen and heard. I am a counseling intern with more than 20 years of experience working with adults, children and teens. I especially love to support parents as they navigate the challenges of raising their children and families. I also have experience with depression, anxiety, life transitions (young adult and midlife), grief, trauma, and relational challenges.
I firmly believe that you are the expert on your life and strive to help you build confidence and trust in yourself through a person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy. I supplement this supportive framework with CBT and ACT interventions as well as play therapy for younger children.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Thomas Edison State University and will complete a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of the Cumberlands in December 2026.
